So I haven’t written in a while–reviewing and renewing priorities has knocked some things off the list, and this is unfortunately one of them.
In the interest of saving best for last I have kept track of some of my stories elsewhere, which is basically in my head.
Later on I will wring them out of my brain, maybe do one of the books I’ve been talking about.
Where have some of my kitties gone? You never call you never write, I hear nothing from you all.
haha. Ain’t that a trend?
School is fun. And although I am not ripe with perfection, I am rocking out one B (possibly a B+) and one B+/A-. It’s my first semester back and they aren’t terrible grades, but next time will be better.
And in my psychosis I did something crazy and registered for 4 classes. Yes, that’s full time, and yes I am working full time still. But I finagled the schedule so that it makes so much sense..I would be an idiot not to do it while rocking the tuition benefits…you know, the benefits of a somewhat affordable education. I need to take classes while I am considered impoverished…which of course I am, but there are certain details making my life much more accommodating.
I have to go make a pie now–I’m being sveet to my work peeps and bringing in some contributions to work Thanksgiving.

I’m glad you are doing so well. If I could manage school/work full-time, I would, but my work is all consuming, and about to be more for a while, but it’s ok.
I tried making pumpkin to bake my pie with (it’s actually Ina Garten’s Pumpkin Banana Mousse Tart!)… it was NOT pumpkin pie fixins… even though they are sugar pumpkins and said they were for pie! So I’m making pumpkin seeds right now. *feh* I’m going to start putting together a sour cream apple pie tomorrow, spice cupcakes and other goodies. Start cooking in advance…concept! 🙂
Take care my friend, and I send you my best blessings for a wonderful Thanksgiving!

Happy Thanksgiving to you, too!
I am always jealous of your food ambitions…you seem like you have a knack for cooking. I feel like I have it sometimes, too. Last night I made a ridiculous chili that seemed to make E fairly happy–though he has often said to me, “this is the best thing I have ever eaten!” It just makes me wonder if he was a home cookin’ kid or a city boy on the whole. I suspect B.
School is fun. It will be even more fun to wave my degree in the wind with accomplishment and a slap in the face to everyone who didn’t believe in me.
bah! I don’t want to make these mashed potatoes for tomorrow. I just opened up the oven to peer in and it looked good enough on its own…my apple crisp.
Either way, I’ve put more effort in than 60% of my employees I guess.

I try, but when I fail, it is most spectacular! 😀 Ad in completely inedible. 😀 At least I tried, huh? 😀
*HUG* I’m so proud of you, sweetie. And very happy for you too! I love fattening up my boy. He’s running 10 miles a week plus now to stay skinny for me! 😀 As skinny as he ever is anyways! 😛

I’ve done 4 classes in a semester, it’s tough but doable. I think I had a better situation because 2 of them were external so I didn’t have to go to class every week.
My semester isn’t so fun this go round, maybe the spring will be better. But I’m glad things are going well for you, school is awesome when it’s fun.
Have a happy thanksgiving, I can’t wait for some pumpkin pie, YUMMY!

Yes it is! I just made my pie, and it’s going to be tough not to eat, but that’s ok. I am trying to contemplate whether or not I want to make mashed potatoes or just give in to the pie. I am hoping there is a ton of food, but it’s hard to say if people are going to be in.
I have three classes on Monday and one on Tuesday and one on Thursday. If I didn’t have the day in between I might not be able to do it.
I did sign on to a three hour class on Thursday evenings from 7 to 10–that should be interesting.
Happy Thanksgiving to you too!

Wow. You’re getting those kind of grades while working FT? You’re kickin’ hippo booty girlfriend! Amazing. Very proud of you 🙂
Have a happy spanksgiving!

Sheesh…thanks!
I don’t think I am working up to my potential still…but it’s a matter of just not having the time, working as much as I do and having to go to the doctor as much as I do too.
Happy Spanksgiving right back at ya! 🙂

I’m so glad you are having fun at school! And thanks for being a great inspiration. I told some friends I wanted to go back to school part time and work full time. All anyone said was “Uh…do you have the energy to do that?” Mmm…such encouragement. Well, I’m going to have to find the energy, because a bachelor’s degree just doesn’t cut it around here. It’s good enough for entry level work.
