A new friend reminded me today of how powerful words are.
And I’m thinking that I have to make myself a friends only kind of poster. Not because I’m hiding anything, but because I don’t want to; honesty is something I adhere to pretty vehemently these days. And I want to write what I want—not to shit talk. But just because it’s personal to me doesn’t mean it has to be revealed to any random person trying to read me.
Signing up is easy. You don’t even have to write anything. But I could give you access because you requested it, provided you have a user name. Of course knowing you is better than not, unless you have some random redeeming quality, like an affinity for pepto-flavored candy.
It’s pretty simple. Otherwise I will look like I dropped off the face of the earth.

I think I “added” or “requested” you…I don’t really know how to use any of the features of this thing….lol..only how to post my stuff and read yours…You are my first “friend” on here- And, as net saavy as I am, LJ trips me up…Hope this will put me on the list to know you didn’t drop off the earth. 🙂

haha
well since you’re the one who reminded me of the power of words, I find it pretty awesome that you had been on here all along and now have access. I’m going to update to paid access soon so that I can check out the better features as well.
most of my friends abroad and around are too lazy to sign up for livejournal even though there are a ton of them that read to see how I am doing whether I am alive etc etc.
So get up on this piece nerd brigade!
ps. I read your post about you and your man…that’s the coolest proposal, seriously.

Thanks. Just feel privilged to be part of the group who gets to read about your life…Logging on and seeing you wrote another update is like when I was 12 and got a new Sweet Valley High. 😉
I have had way too many people give me shit lately about not writing since I got engaged, so, I guess I should get more on the ball with this LJ thing.
Proposal was definitely great…He is one in a million. Thanks for the compliment to his creativity…
Looking forward to your updates- Going to read your latest right now.
